Youth groups of all types have been enjoying White Pines Ranch for over two generations! Boys, girls, and teens from Scouts, Church, Park District, and other groups, along with their leaders, experience our real western dude ranch from mid-August to June every year.

You aren’t going to want to have your group miss out on the experience of a lifetime!
We lead the activities from Horsemanship (an interesting and required program to ensure safety on the trails) until your departure. And we’ll make sure the dorms (carpeted, heated, and air-conditioned) and modern bathrooms with individual showers are kept spic and span.
The all-inclusive fee includes all food, lodging, and recreation. Please bring your own sleeping bag, towels, pillows, and all bathroom articles.

Check-in is between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. After check-in we will have an orientation meeting and horsemanship class. Your group will enjoy 2 gentle, scenic horseback rides during your stay. When you are not riding, there will be two activities to choose from each hour with a break for lunch at 12:00 and dinner at 5:30. Evening activities start at 6:30 and go right up until bedtime at 9:00. Dorms go “lights out” and quiet at 10:00. Up-time on Sunday morning is at 7:00. Sunday includes a wholesome breakfast, lunch, and activities until 3:00.
Activities led by WPR staff include horseback riding, grooming, saddling, wilderness survival, fossil hunting, hiking, compass work, team building, archery, and more!
